Job summary

• High school diploma or GED and minimum of two years related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Previous cold calling experience is required.
• Experience developing and executing territory sales strategies.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Previous experience selling commercial parts is a giant plus.

Responsibilities

• Solicits parts business from assigned accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts.
• Prospects for new customers and develops the sales territory and generates new parts business.
• Uses CRM daily to schedule and document activities and build customer profiles.
• Develops awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
• Meets with Parts Manager to review weekly sales activities and progress toward goals.
• Performs scheduled and cold call prospecting to establish first and follow-up appointments.
