Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Part Technician open to training and growth. You will support technicians by sourcing parts, managing stock, and processing cycles counts while following safety policies. This full-time role may involve outdoor work, night and weekend shifts, and overtime as needed.

The position offers exposure to warehouse operations, inventory control, and collaborative teamwork within a nationwide logistics company.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED; ability to work outdoors or on shifts including nights/weekends.
• Preferred: HS Diploma/GED with up to 1 year related experience or training; valid driver's license.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic deductive reasoning skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient active listening skills.
• Proficient organizational skills.
• Proficient time management skills.

• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting above 50 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior team member to learn how to fulfill parts requests by technicians.
• Ensure parts are properly charged to the unit under repair.
• Observe all safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Conduct cycle counts as required.
• Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel; stock inbound parts and update systems.
