Job summary

J.B. Hunt in Houston, TX is seeking a Parts Technician I to gain foundational knowledge ensuring technicians have needed parts for repairs. You will assist in inventory management, perform cycle counts, receive shipments, and update information systems.

This full-time role may involve outdoor work, nights or weekends, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A GED/High School diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will assist in the management of inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and processed core and warranty returns according to Company requirements.
