NAPA supplies many parts to these organizations that keep them moving. Due to our success, we are looking to expand this division. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) Division as a IBS Site Parts Specialist - Trainee.

What is NAPA Integrated Business Solutions (IBS):

We manage parts so businesses don’t have to! The NAPA IBS program partners with companies needing on-site assistance to run efficient parts departments—essentially, “a store inside a store.” Our partners include airline ground support maintenance stations, government vehicle maintenance facilities, utility companies, construction firms, and car dealerships. The Parts Specialist - Trainee will play a critical role in our partnerships across four focus areas: Government, Transportation, Commercial, Dealership. This role involves on-site parts management, procurement, inventory control, and team leadership. We seek someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure the right parts are available at the right time—on schedule!

This role may be for you if:

  • You are eager to learn and grow into a NAPA IBS role
  • You are comfortable working in a fleet or shop environment
  • You have experience in automotive aftermarket, dealership, parts, or ground support industry
  • You have skills in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or leadership in automotive or fleet sectors
  • You enjoy representing a respected brand and providing outstanding customer service
  • You excel at building relationships with team members and vendors
  • You are proactive in improving processes and solving customer questions

A Day in the life (what you will learn):

  • Deliver high-level customer service to partners and clients
  • Collaborate with the IBS Site Manager and team to handle reconciliation and daily operations
  • Address customer questions and resolve issues promptly
  • Bring energy to the parts counter at our IBS location
  • Assist team members with customer service and parts searches
  • Navigate computer and catalog systems
  • Contribute to process improvements in our parts store
  • Lift merchandise up to 60 lbs.
  • Maintain safety and asset protection standards

What you’ll need:

  • Open-mindedness for training
  • Passion for customer care and relationship management
  • Experience with inventory, asset management, or cataloging
  • Leadership experience in automotive or fleet industries
  • Self-motivation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate POS, catalog, and fleet management software
  • Analytical mindset and drive for customer solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to be the go-to person for customers
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in aviation or ground support equipment
  • Technical school or college degree
  • Experience in parts procurement, supply chain, or logistics
  • ASE Certifications
