Job summary

MANCON, LLC. is seeking a Parts Specialist I to provide counter service to VDOT staff, support inventory control, and perform data entry in inventory systems. The role may involve driving a MANCON vehicle to collect parts and ensuring accurate processing of requisitions and invoices.

Responsibilities include supporting weekly inventory counts, adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines, and providing 24-hour support during emergencies. Prior parts experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 2+ years driving experience.
• 1 year experience with auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts.
• 24-hour availability during emergencies or critical operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter service to VDOT employees needing parts/equipment.
• Assist with inventory control and data entry in inventory systems.
• Drive MANCON vehicle to pick up parts and deliver as required.
• Review requisitions and invoices for pricing and quantities; ensure accuracy.
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventories as needed.
