Job summary

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking a Parts Specialist in Savage, MN. You will assist customers in sourcing parts, manage warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, stocking, and order picking, while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes customer service, problem solving for parts availability, and collaboration with vendors. A 1–2 year background in warehouse or sales is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse and/or sales experience.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for incoming parts requests via phone and web.
• Research parts solutions including new, surplus, and aftermarket options.
• Process sales orders and returns accurately and timely.
• Utilize resources to grow knowledge of machines and applicable parts.
• Assist customers in finding hard-to-find parts using various resources.
• Create and process transfer orders and vendor purchase orders.
• Handle shipping and receiving of parts and stock shelves.
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
