O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers promptly in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise selections.
• Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete relevant training for the position.
• Answer store calls per policy, lookup parts and quote prices, and suggest related items with Low-Price Guarantee.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and secure the cash drawer.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit in line with policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints courteously.
• Assist with image maker and planogram updates, stocking, cleaning, and freight receivals.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock adjustments and cycle counts.
• Operate brake lathe and related test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services where allowed by state/local laws (e.g., wipers, batteries, codes).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
