Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management in tasks.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering calls, processing transactions, and supporting stock and planogram updates. Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist their merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists to serve professional customers.
• Answer store phone calls per policy, lookup parts and quote prices, offer related items and low-price guarantees.
• Handle cash and transaction processing, make change, and secure the cash drawer.
• Process exchanges/returns per company policy and maintain goodwill with customers.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves and cleaning.
• Perform stock counts, freight receiving, and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and requirements met.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, charge systems, diagnose vehicle issues).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
