Description

Team Auto Group of Myrtle Beach is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Parts Advisor to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll support both customers and service technicians by ensuring timely, accurate delivery of parts and supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable about automotive systems, and driven to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and technicians in identifying and purchasing required automotive parts and accessories.

• Use electronic and print parts catalogs to accurately identify parts for various makes, models, and years.

• Track and manage all incoming and outgoing parts inventory to ensure accuracy and proper organization.

• Source unavailable parts from alternate suppliers or dealerships when necessary.

• Process payments and ensure accurate billing through the service department and collision center.

• Package and prepare parts for shipping or return, completing necessary documentation.

• Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets as set by the Parts Manager.

• Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow parts sales.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department environment.

• Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a related automotive role is preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

• Proficiency with computer systems and parts catalog software.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.

• Ability to lift and move parts as needed.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

• Availability to work some Saturdays is required.
