Job description

C & B Material Handling, LLC a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a Parts Specialist for our location in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role is a key player in our parts and service department, responsible for the sale, receipt, and delivery of parts and accessories. This role involves direct interaction with customers, providing exceptional in-store service, and ensuring that technicians have the necessary parts for their work.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to sell parts and accessories, understanding their needs and offering solutions.
• Receive and process parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver parts and accessories to customers and technicians as needed.
• Provide high-quality in-store customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support technicians by supplying the required parts promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department to facilitate easy access and efficient service.
• Assist with inventory control, including stock checks and ordering parts as needed.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in parts management is a plus.
• Proven experience in parts sales or a similar role within the material handling or related industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a track record of satisfying customers.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and parts cataloging.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
• Valid DMV record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions.
