The Parts Specialist will provide high-quality service to all retail and installer customers and support store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide excellent customer service over the phone, including answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and promoting the Low-Price Guarantee.
6. Maintain and secure the cash register, handle transactions accurately.
7. Process exchanges and returns according to company policies.
8. Address and resolve customer complaints.
9. Assist with daily store operations such as stock management, freight receival, and planogram updates.
10. Perform in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes (where legal).
11. Occasionally drive to make deliveries, subject to driving record approval.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Desired:

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
