Compensation Pay Range
$16.50 - $24.50
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums which may be paid in specific circumstances. Premiums may vary based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Parts Specialist will provide high-quality service to retail and installer customers and support store management in various tasks.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Follow and promote all customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
  2. Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
  3. Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
  4. Complete relevant company training.
  5. Provide excellent customer service over the phone, including looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and promoting the Low-Price Guarantee.
  6. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, handle transactions, and process credit card payments.
  7. Process exchanges and returns following company policies.
  8. Address and resolve customer complaints amicably.
  9. Assist with daily store operations like freight receival, stocking, and merchandising updates.
  10. Perform operational tasks such as merchandise returns, stock counts, and inventory management.
  11. Operate store test equipment after training.
  12. Perform in-store services (where legal), e.g., installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, etc.
  13. Drive a delivery vehicle as needed, meeting driving record requirements.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, and Experience

Required:

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Outstanding, friendly customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively

Desired:

  • Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and sales/service
  • ASE certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish
