The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow all customer service programs such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists as needed.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide excellent phone service, including answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and promoting company guarantees.
6. Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and maintain cash drawer security.
7. Process exchanges and returns per policy.
8. Resolve customer complaints amicably.
9. Assist with store image maintenance, stocking, and planogram updates.
10. Perform operational tasks such as merchandise returns and inventory counts.
11. Operate store equipment after training.
12. Perform in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle codes where legal.
13. Drive delivery vehicle if required and eligible.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Multitask effectively handling in-store and phone customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification.
• Multilingual fluency, especially in Spanish.
