The Parts Business Operations team plays a critical role in driving profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and improving dealer efficiency across a nationwide network of authorized dealer partners. Core responsibilities include supply chain management, genuine parts sales, dealer support, and communication management within the U.S. market. This team ensures the seamless flow of genuine parts to authorized dealers who serve retail customers, independent repair shops, and collision repair facilities.

We are seeking a contractor to support a rapidly expanding parts operation that services an ever-growing vehicle fleet on U.S. roads. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, able to work independently, and adaptable to shifting priorities. This position supports existing Parts Support Specialists by assisting dealers with parts ordering, supply chain topics, and special projects. Administrative responsibilities will also include managing dealer parts transactions, tracking estimated arrival times, and ensuring effective order management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary support contact for a designated group of dealers, managing inquiries and tickets related to parts availability, shipment ETAs, ordering, warehouse collaboration, high-priority orders (VOR), damage claims, and process guidance.
• Coordinate and process parts trades between dealers, including accurate financial reconciliation.
• Maintain a high level of service by resolving dealer support tickets promptly and professionally, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
• Escalate issues as necessary with clear, timely communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the inbound parts supply process and ensure appropriate allocation to dealers, particularly for recalls and service campaigns.
• Oversee special parts return initiatives (withdrawals) to ensure timely and compliant returns from dealers and warehouses.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to parts operations and support service levels.
• Take ownership of special projects and perform reporting or ad hoc analysis as required.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and workflows to enhance the dealer support experience.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience:

• Ideal for a recent college graduate with strong analytical and professional skills and an interest in working in a dynamic office environment.

Skills:

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to advocate effectively for dealer partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with SAP and/or BW is a plus.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to manage projects from concept to execution.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneurial approach to delivering results.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, particularly when working with field employees and dealer representatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
