Rydell Auto Center is one of the largest and best-selling automotive retailers across North Dakota. We are seeking qualified and flexible candidates to apply for our growing Parts team.

The primary purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist is to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing essential job requirements to meet quality and productivity standards.

Pay/Schedule

• Pay is $17/hour
• Late afternoon/evening availability. Typical shifts are from 3pm-8pm, Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise, and match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or designated areas.
• Assist in counting physical inventory, movement of inventory, and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of the Parts department.
• Willing to work late nights when needed during winter or busy months.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret, and communicate information effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge and ability to make decisions.
• Understanding of proper packaging methods.
