AutoNation is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves measuring and counting shipments, selecting shipping methods, and maintaining meticulous receiving and shipping records.

You will unpack, inspect, and coordinate with shippers to resolve damages and shortages, while keeping storage areas clean and well-labeled. A valid license and 1 year in a parts dept are required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use parts department computer system.

Responsabilidades

• Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments and verify against records.
• Determine method of shipment using knowledge of routes and rates.
• Maintain clean, labeled bins, aisles and storage areas.
• Keep receiving/shipping records and related maintenance logs up to date.
• Unpack shipments, inspect for damage, record shortages and coordinate with shippers.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specs and required documentation.
• Operate heavy equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as needed.
