Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to technicians.
• Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked.
• Assist the service department by moving vehicles as needed.
• Pick up and/or deliver parts to designated accounts.
• Deliver mail to the post office each evening.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parts department.
• Crate all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk – Parts Department

The Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing parts shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Essential Duties

• Deliver parts to technicians
• Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
• Assists the service department by moving vehicles as needed and delivering vehicles to other repair facilities for sublet repairs
• Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments
• Deliver mail to the post office each evening
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins daily
• Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when parts have been replaced
• Performs other duties as assigned
