Job summary

BMW of Lubbock, Texas, is seeking a talented Parts Shipping & Receiving associate to join our team and help Make Confidence Happen every day. You will manage both incoming and outgoing shipments, verify records, and collaborate with service technicians to ensure parts availability.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating warehouse machinery. Experience with ADP or CDK is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and provide strong customer service.
• ADP and CDK experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.
• Verify and keep record of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pull orders and stage for delivery.
• Handle special orders for Service, Body Shop, Wholesale and Retail customers and prepare items for shipment.
• Daily interaction with service technicians to pull parts and deliver to technician.
• Accurately navigate through computer catalog system.
• Locate parts in inventory in a timely manner.
• Place parts in facility by packaging and lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
• Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages within the company.
• Maintain the dock through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis.
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
• Report to parts manager and assistant manager

• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
• High School diploma or GED is required
