Job summary

Lou Sobh's Honda of the Avenues in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure accurate packaging and receipt of parts, stock and post orders, and assist drivers. This role requires forklift certification and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 months of related experience, and solid math/reading skills. A valid driver's license and background check are required; company offers excellent benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 months of experience or related training; or equivalent combination.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Excellent math and reading comprehension skills.
• Must be certified and able to operate a forklift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate packaging of outbound parts orders and receipt of incoming parts.
• Fill, package and mark parts orders to meet delivery schedules; pick and pack orders for counter staff.
• Receive ordered parts and check items for damage, correct quantities, or back orders.
• Help with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery.
• Assist parts drivers in loading and unloading parts and report low inventory to Parts Manager.
• Pull orders from printed packing slips.
• Load and unload stock merchandise.
• Maintain parts and supplies inventories in an organized manner, rotating or shifting stock as needed.
• Prepare seasonal parts/accessories displays and warehouse shelves as directed.
• Order and ship emergency parts from vendors to customers.
