Job summary

The City of Sioux Falls is seeking a Parts/Service Department Associate to deliver excellent customer service in our store. You will assist customers with product information, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized environment.

You will collaborate with customers, contractors, and store staff to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, using online part catalogs to identify correct parts, locating products, managing inventory, and handling sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous customer service or parts experience is beneficial.
• Previous experience with construction tools and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional manner and assist with product inquiries.
• Refer to parts manuals online to identify the right part for the make/model/year.
• Locate products, check inventory, and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
