Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; prior auto parts sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and other figures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Explain customer parts status clearly and promptly.
• Read and understand parts catalogs when locating items.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Verify pricing aligns with shop estimates.
• Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders, perform weekly stock checks.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Source out-of-stock parts from external vendors when needed.
• Ensure internal requests for parts bill correctly on service orders.
• Process payments or obtain credit authorization from customers.
