Job summary

Riggs CAT in Osceola, AR is seeking a Parts Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer service while accurately taking orders, locating parts, and coordinating delivery or will-call.

You will stock and organize parts, process returns, handle cash, and operate company vehicles for local deliveries when needed. This front-line role requires reliability, basic math, and the ability to work overtime or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to customers and employees.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional and safe work environment.
• Efficiently and accurately pick, put away, deliver orders and maintain customer will call.
• Fabricates hoses.
• Ships and receives freight.
• Process customer and shop orders as well as returns.
• Understand inventory control basics.
• Interact with customers to determine parts needs and communicate status.
• Look up parts in system to determine customer needs.
• Handle cash procedures.
• Follow Contamination Control guidelines.
• Execute backorders.
• Process and complete parts orders with minimal supervision.
• Attend afterhours call schedule as required.
• Resolve customer issues or concerns.
