Job summary

AutoZone Memphis is seeking a Store Management professional to support the Store Manager in supervising and developing a high-performing team while delivering WOW! Customer Service.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, inventory control, and efficient store operations within the automotive retail space. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in retail, strong communication skills in English (and Spanish preferred), and ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams in retail or service environments.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff; bilingual ability is a plus (Spanish/English).
• Background in automotive parts or retail preferred, ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing high-performing employees.
• Maintain clear communications with customers and team to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive results.
• Oversee cash handling, shrink control, and adherence to store procedures.
• Lead efforts to optimize inventory, merchandising, and returns processing.
• Support commercial accounts and hub departments to meet deliveries and customer needs.
