Job summary

Bobcat of Temple in Temple, TX is seeking a Parts Specialist to assist customers and internal teams with parts needs. You will be the first contact for phone and walk-in requests, build relationships, quote parts, and process sales and returns.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years in parts sales, strong communication, organization, and computer skills. You may operate a forklift, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment; background check and drug testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of parts sales or sales experience.
• Equipment knowledge or industry experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and good people skills.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems.
• Computer skills including Microsoft applications; experience with business systems a plus.
• Can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Able to bend, squat, or climb on equipment; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional extreme weather conditions; background check and pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills customer and service department parts requests with in-stock inventory.
• Receives, checks-in and distributes all parts delivered daily.
• Keeps showroom and parts warehouse clean and organized.
• Matches orders to pack slips and processes sales including payments and receipts.
• Maintains parts inventory and places vendor orders when needed.
• Upsells customers in face-to-face environment.
• Learns and maintains knowledge of all parts and catalogs.
