Job summary

Vermeer Kilgore is seeking a Parts Specialist in Kilgore, TX. You will assist customers and internal departments with parts needs, serve as the first point of contact for parts requests, and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include processing parts orders, receiving deliveries, maintaining the showroom and warehouse, and upselling to customers. A high school diploma and 2+ years in parts sales are preferred; forklift operation and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous parts sales or sales experience.
• Experience with business systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills customer and service department parts requests with in-stock inventory; orders additional parts from vendors as needed.
• Receives, checks-in and distributes all parts delivered daily.
• Keeps showroom and parts warehouse clean and organized.
• Matches orders to pack slips and processes payments.
• Upsells customers in face-to-face environment and maintains customer relationships.
• Learns and maintains knowledge base of parts; uses catalogs to identify stock numbers and prices.
• Performs all duties in a professional and efficient manner.
