Job summary

Garton Tractor, Inc. is seeking a Parts Sales associate to fulfill customer needs by selling parts and accessories at competitive prices while maintaining high satisfaction.

You will represent the Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental Departments, promote departmental products, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities include using the parts system to identify stock numbers, processing orders, providing guidance on substitutions, and maintaining organized stock areas.

Qualifications

• Customer- and personal-service knowledge, meeting quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Sales principles, product knowledge, suggestive selling techniques.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and parts systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain friendly, positive customer interactions and establish rapport with customers.
• Use the parts system to search stock numbers and prices for replacement parts.
• Process telephone orders professionally; fulfill stock or special orders and notify customers on arrivals.
• Advise customers on substitutions or modifications when exact parts aren’t available.
• Prepare sales invoices and manage inventory accuracy; tag and store parts properly.
• Promote additional parts through suggestive selling to boost department profits.
• Coordinate with Service, Sales, and Administrative staff to support dealership operations.
• Assist in stocking, organizing, and maintaining department cleanliness and orderliness.
