Job summary

Sames Auto Group is seeking a Parts Counter professional to efficiently sell vehicle parts to wholesale and retail customers and expedite the Service department's parts needs. You will fill orders, promote parts and accessories, and actively maintain customer satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of vehicle parts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle items up to 125 lbs. bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in parts stocking.
• Knowledge of vehicle parts.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Performance of extensive numerical calculations to a written record with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements.
• Ability to retrieve, load and deliver items of various sizes and weights (up to 125 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition.
• Computer skills; familiarity with CDK Parts Inventory Computer system.
• Possess good customer relations abilities, polite and courteous manner, cooperative attitude, team oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate and understand English and Spanish a plus.
