Job summary

Sames Bastrop CDJR in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Parts Counter person to sell vehicle parts to wholesale and retail customers and support the Service department. The role includes filling orders, promoting parts and accessories, and maintaining inventory.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of parts stocking experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform accurate numerical calculations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in Parts stocking.
• Good working knowledge of vehicle parts.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to perform extensive numerical calculations with accuracy.
• Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements.
• Communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Requirements

• Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements.
• Ability to retrieve, load and deliver items of various sizes and weights (up to 125 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition.
• Computer skills; familiarity with CDK Parts Inventory Computer system.
• Possess good customer relations abilities, polite and courteous manner, cooperative attitude, team oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate and understand English and Spanish a plus.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, insurable.
