JD SERVICE NOW LLC is seeking a Parts Runner to support our plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning team. The role involves delivering parts to technicians, assisting on job sites, and keeping materials organized at the office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts using a company truck to technicians at job sites.
• Assist technicians on job sites with unloading equipment and parts.
• Perform housekeeping duties around the office, restocking materials, etc.
• Handle material returns and assist with material staging and cycle counts.
• Respond promptly to requests from technicians and office staff with urgency and accuracy.

Big Tasks

To be a Parts Runner, we're looking for someone who can:

• Drive a company-provided truck to deliver parts to technicians at job sites and pick up materials from supply houses.
• Assist technicians on job sites with unloading equipment and parts.
• Perform housekeeping duties around the office, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, restocking materials, etc.
• Handle material returns and assist with material staging and cycle counts as needed.
• Respond promptly to requests from technicians and office staff, completing deliveries with urgency, efficiency, and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid driver's license with 3 years of clean driving history and someone who enjoys driving.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to safely pull and back an 18-foot trailer.
• Someone who takes initiative, works hard, and likes to stay busy. No two days are the same!
• Dependable and punctual, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
