Job summary

JD Service Now in Durham, NC is looking for a reliable Parts Runner to support our field technicians and service crew. You’ll drive a company truck, deliver parts, and assist on job sites with unloading equipment and materials.

This role offers a steady schedule, medical benefits, and company-provided gear. The ideal candidate is safety‑minded, punctual, physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, and comfortable using basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with 3 years of clean driving history.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to safely pull and back an 18-foot trailer.
• Dependable and punctual with strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided truck to deliver parts to technicians at job sites and pick up materials from supply houses.
• Assist technicians on job sites with unloading equipment and parts.
• Perform housekeeping duties around the office, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, restocking materials, etc.
• Handle material returns and assist with material staging and cycle counts as needed.
• Respond promptly to requests from technicians and office staff, completing deliveries with urgency, efficiency, and accuracy.
