• Maintain overall cleanliness of the Truck shop and surrounding area.
• Utilize Dossier Parts management system for stock orders.

Job description

Producers Dairy Foods, a leading supplier and distributor of high-quality award-winning dairy products, is looking for a dedicated Parts Runner to join our winning team out of Fresno, CA. This position is for supporting the daily Fresno Garage operations and ensuring the cleanliness of the Garage and surrounding area. T he Parts Runner will be responsible for demonstrating the Producers Dairy Core Values and carrying out our purpose of Nourishing Lives.

Essential Functions

• Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
• Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
• Picking up team members, parts, and supplies from vendors.
• Placing parts and supplies in correct locations within Parts room.
• Inventorying parts room to insure correct location and quantities.
• Delivering requested parts to Technicians.
• Overall cleanliness of the Truck shop and surrounding area.
• Working within the Dossier Parts management system for correctly ordering of stock orders
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid California Drivers license with a good driving record
• Strong and effective communication.
• Strong sense of urgency. Should be driven and self-motivated.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities; meets deadlines and works well under pressure.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of shop software (Dossier Systems)
