Job summary

A leading dairy product supplier is seeking a dedicated Tanker Driver based in Fresno, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and transporting raw milk to our processing facility while adhering to safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a valid Commercial Class A driver’s license, at least 3 years of transport experience, and a commitment to excellence and safety management. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform sample tests including Antibiotics Charm test and butter fat samples.

Job description

Producers Dairy Foods, a leading supplier and distributor of high-quality award-winning dairy products, is looking for dedicated Tanker Driver to join our winning team out of Fresno, CA. Tanker Driver will be responsible for receiving and transporting raw milk to the Fresno Processing facility. The Tanker Driver will be responsible for demonstrating the Producers Dairy Core Values and carrying out our purpose of Nourishing Lives.

Essential Functions:

• Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
• Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
• Drives truck following established routes and time schedules.
• Uses proper wash procedures for tankers.
• Performs sample tests including Antibiotics Charm test, butter fat samples, individual tanker samples, and hose sample at 502 and 503.
• Documents load, time and date on chart at farms, including time, date and equipment number for C.I.P.
• Ensures all milk tankers meet Producers Dairy, state and federal standards by performing antibiotic testing on each tanker.
• Checks paperwork and wash tags of incoming tankers.
• Keeps receiving area clean at all times.
• Follows GMP’s and insures that all in the receiving area follow GMP’s.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Must possess a valid Commercial Class A driver’s license with Tanker endorsements. Company will pay for required Weigher’s and Sampler’s license required for role.
• A minimum of 3 years transport/coordinating experience, preferably in a manufacturing/food processing environment with a transportation division
