Fix-It 24/7 in Charleston is hiring a Parts Runner to pick up, deliver, stage, and organize HVAC parts and equipment. This hands-on, physical, and fast-paced role involves driving, loading/unloading, and supporting our technicians.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required; overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver”s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle.
• Organized, dependable, and on time.
• Able to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Pick up HVAC parts and equipment from supply houses.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before leaving.
• Deliver parts and equipment to job sites.
• Load and unload materials; heavy lifting required.
• Stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming installs.
• Restock unused parts returned by installers or credit them.
• Organize and keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Handle warranty part returns to supply houses.
• Help keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and ready.
• Assist with permits and vehicle passes when needed.
• Monitor dumpster use and keep disposal areas clean.
• Receive deliveries and report missing or damaged items.

Pay: $18-$20/hour + Full Benefits
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available)

Job Summary

What You’ll Do

• Pick up HVAC parts and equipment from supply houses
• Double-check orders to make sure all parts are correct before leaving
• Deliver parts and equipment to job sites
• Load and unload materials (heavy lifting required)
• Stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming install jobs
• Restock unused parts returned by installers or return them for credit
• Organize and keep the warehouse clean and orderly
• Handle warranty part returns to supply houses
• Help keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and ready to go
• Help manage permits and vehicle passes when needed
• Watch dumpster use and keep disposal areas clean
• Receive deliveries and report missing or damaged items

What We’re Looking For (Required)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• HVAC, plumbing, warehouse, or parts runner experience
• Familiarity with tools and trade materials
