Tyson Foods is seeking a Parts Room Supervisor in Cincinnati to manage maintenance parts purchasing and building supplies for the plant. You will oversee inventory accuracy, ensure PO approvals, and collaborate with corporate purchasing to optimize vendors and costs.

The role requires leadership skills, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. SAP experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred; the position is full-time with day shift hours.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or higher preferred; experience or training considered.
• Experience: Supervisory or lead experience in a plant setting preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Special Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, work well with minimal supervision, fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory: Responsible for supervising a team in Parts/Receiving.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cycle counting and inventory accuracy in the parts area.
• Ensure Purchase Orders have proper approvals.
• Collaborate with corporate purchasing to vendor developments and cost reductions.
• Create new part numbers and maintain vendor credentials.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships; manage invoices and late-delivery reports.
• Supervise, train, and mentor personnel in Parts and Receiving.
