Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Parts Room Clerk for the A Shift (6:00AM-6:30PM) in New York. You will receive materials, maintain inventory records, and dispense parts to technicians to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, proper labeling, tool and parts handling, and assisting with MRO spend reduction. A high school diploma and experience with inventory systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven inventory management experience with emphasis on MRO materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in CMMS or similar inventory software.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with prompt support to technicians.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise all Parts Room activities for accuracy and efficiency.
• Supply tools, parts, services, and equipment to engineers and technicians.
• Maintain inventory records and organize parts with proper labeling.
• Conduct cycle counts and address discrepancies.
• Receive all Parts Room packages into the inventory system.
• Coordinate part returns to inventory or suppliers.
• Provide customer service to technicians, especially when lines are down.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Parts Room.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives related to MRO spend.
• Document shift notes and communicate inventory updates.
