Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Inventory/Storeroom Clerk to oversee receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items. You will support the parts room team, maintain accurate inventory records, and organize parts in bins with proper min/max levels.

The role requires basic computer skills, SAP proficiency, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally. No relocation or travel is required, and first shift work is available in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months+ experience in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with employees, management, and suppliers.
• Reading/writing ability; basic math; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing 50+ pounds occasionally.
• Travel: None.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control in the storeroom, including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items.
• Support team members in the parts room and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory records in the system and organize parts with defined min/max levels.
• Manage storeroom operations in the Supervisor's absence.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
