A leading company is seeking a Parts Room Attendant for the night shift. The role involves managing parts room inventory, ensuring organization, and supporting maintenance operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong communication skills.
Parts Room Attendant VB (Night Shift) (Finance)
To control parts room inventory, identify, order, catalog, store, account for, and issue machine parts, supplies, and materials used by the division.
Participate in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies. Coordinate work to ensure B.E.S.T. practices with all team members. Attend team meetings and foster strong cohesiveness on major issues such as direction, plans, budgets, and policies. Identify and address areas lacking cohesiveness, working with the team leader to resolve issues and promote synergy within the organization.
Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems (quality, security, office environment, policies). Understand the importance of supporting these systems and communicating concerns or improvement ideas.
This position supports business objectives and encourages proactive thinking beyond the core duties. It may involve other tasks as needed.
Ability to work in challenging environments (wet, noisy, dusty, humid, hot or cold), stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and working from ladders. Must handle chemicals safely with appropriate PPE per MSDS/SDS guidelines.
