An established industry player is seeking a Parts Room Attendant to manage inventory and support operations. This role involves controlling parts room inventory, maintaining organization, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. To control parts room inventory, identify, order, catalog, store, account for, and issue machine parts, supplies, and materials used by the division.
Participate as a member of the team, engaging in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies. Coordinate work to ensure B.E.S.T. practices with all team members and attend relevant team meetings.
Foster strong cohesiveness on major issues such as direction, annual plans, budgets, and policy changes. Quickly identify areas lacking cohesiveness, bring issues to the team leader, and work supportively to resolve them. Actively seek ways to achieve synergy within the organization.
Understand Simmons’ established operating systems principles and objectives, including quality, security, office environment, and company policies. Maintain familiarity with these systems, understanding the impact of individual actions and communicating concerns and improvement ideas.
Perform other duties supporting business objectives as needed. This description guides the activities of the Parts Room Attendant but does not limit creativity or the scope of work.

Preferred experience or knowledge in mechanical equipment, sources of supply, and parts catalog interpretation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills required.
