Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the following: maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchase requisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendor tickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering parts to maintenance personnel for particular job; stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment; unload supply trucks; prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision; other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills is a plus and experience in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Communication Skills: Must possess a good level of verbal/written communication skills.
Travel: None.
Other Requirements: Ability to unload supplies lifting 50 lbs occasionally; knowledge, skills, and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy, ability to prioritize and multi-task, work without supervision, be detail oriented and have good attendance; ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance.
Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.
