A leading company in Sedalia, Missouri is seeking a Parts Room Attendant for the 2nd shift. The role involves inventory control, issuing tools and parts, and supporting maintenance personnel. Ideal candidates will have general knowledge of parts and tools, along with basic computer skills. This position offers benefits including paid time off and a 401(k) plan.

Job Details:
This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. some of these duties include:
Issuing Tools and Parts : Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned.
Inventory Management : Control parts room inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, identified , and organized.
Order Processing : Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Record Keeping : Initiate and maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
Locating Items : Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
Maintenance Support : Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.
B Shift: Wed 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM; Thursday and Friday 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM every other weekend Sat and Sun 5:00PM to 5:00 AM

Experience: General knowledge and experience with parts and tools preferred.
Inventory experience is also preferred.
Computers: General knowledge computer skills are required . Experience with excel & SAP is preferred.

401(k) & Stock Purchase Plans
Prepare for your future in retirement with our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan and Stock Purchase Plan. Our 401(k) plan offers both pre-tax and after-tax Roth contributions.
Once you’ve completed a year of service with the company, Tyson will contribute to your retirement savings in the 401(k) Plan with a match equal to 100% of the first 3% of eligible pay you contribute, plus 50% of the next 2 percent of eligible pay you contribute.
Also after one year, Tyson will match 25% of the first 10% of eligible pay you contribute to the Stock Purchase Plan. Your contributions and Tyson’s contributions to the plans are always 100% vested.
