Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Parts & Tool Room Attendant to issue parts and tools, manage inventory, and ensure equipment is in good working condition!

In this role, you’ll use an ERP system to track inventory, perform cycle counts, receive and inspect shipments, and coordinate tool repairs. You’ll also operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed and support safety, quality, and GMP standards.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of manufacturing or packaging experience, basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Prior experience with SAP, inventory control, or tool room operations is a plus. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification is required or must be obtained.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Minimum six months of experience in manufacturing or packaging.
• Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
• Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous parts counter, storeroom, tool room/crib or parts room, inventory control or purchasing experience
• Previous plant production software experience required, SAP experience
• Previous powered industrial truck experience
• Experience using power and hand tools
