Dart Container in Leola, PA is seeking a Parts Room Attendant to maintain and organize our parts and tools inventory, ensuring accuracy and on-time availability for production.

You will record and control inventory in our SAP-based ERP, perform cycle counts, handle deliveries with forklifts, and support safety and quality processes. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this full-time role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in parts counter, storeroom, or parts room.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for reports and documents.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIT license.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory records.
• Math skills including decimals to fractions conversion.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and organize parts and tools inventory to support production.
• Record, control, and monitor inventory using SAP ERP system.
• Receive, store, and expediting inventory items as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all parts and tools.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Ship parts for rebuild or repair and track returns.
• Unload and deliver parts using forklift/PIT equipment.
• Verify shipments against bills of lading and invoices.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages.
• Ensure all parts and equipment are safe and in working condition.

What you'll do...

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and organizing our parts and tools inventory — a critical piece of keeping our equipment and teams operating efficiently.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Recording, controlling, and monitoring inventory using our ERP production system (SAP experience a plus)
• Receiving, storing, and expediting inventory items as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation for all parts and tools
• Performing cycle counts and conducting root cause analysis for variances
• Sending out parts for rebuild or repair and following up on their return
• Unloading and delivering parts and tools using a forklift, lift truck, or pallet jack
• Cleaning, assembling, and disassembling parts and tools as needed
• Verifying shipments against Bills of Lading, invoices, or pick tickets
• Reporting discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages
• Ensuring all parts, tools, and equipment are safe and in working condition

What you'll need...

• One (1) year of experience working at parts counter, storeroom, tool room/crib or parts room.
• Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
• Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Previous plant production software experience required, SAP experience
• Previous powered industrial truck experience
• Experience using power and hand tools
