Job summary

Dart Container is seeking Machine Operators for an evening shift to support high-speed production lines. You will assist with setup, operation and shutdown of process equipment, logging production data and ensuring quality at every step.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, simple math skills and solid English communication. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), weekly pay and opportunities for pay increases and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting-up, starting, diagnosing, troubleshooting and properly shutting down process equipment
• Assist with process machinery from raw materials through downstream finished goods
• Maintain production logs and reports; perform SAP data entry as required
• Support safe and efficient production in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do…

• Assist with setting-up, starting, diagnosing, troubleshooting and properly shutting down process equipment
• Assist with process machinery from raw materials through downstream finished goods
• Maintain production logs and reports as required
• Perform production process in SAP as required

What you’ll need…

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
