Job summary

Northern Lights, Inc. seeks a Parts Receiving Clerk/Warehouse Associate in Seattle, WA to receive, inspect, count, and stock parts from vendors. This role verifies shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and maintain inventory levels.

A valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, as occasional driving may be necessary. Pay range is $22–$28 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Read and distinguish part numbers accurately.
• Operate forklifts/hoists safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic math and use a computer for record-keeping.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain high attention to detail and strong organization.
• Follow procedures and read instructions carefully.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate professional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload and unpack shipments, prioritize air freight.
• Verify items against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect parts for damage, record quantities received.
• Distribute items to departments per routing.
• Repackage parts for labeling and apply barcodes.
• Stock inventory daily in designated locations.
• Update inventory records and locations in system.
• Report discrepancies for vendor resolution.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
