Ingenics in Alabama is seeking a quality engineer to investigate and correct issues with supplier parts, focusing on trim and interior components. You will lead corrective actions, analyze data, and coordinate containment and campaigns for part quality across supplier plants.

Qualifications

• Must be a logical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to download data and create graphs and reports.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and correct issues with supplier parts to ensure incoming quality and functionality.
• Coordinate and report activities for Model Year and Running Change Measures.
• Lead corrective action and root cause analysis using problem-solving methods and CI techniques.
• Support production operations on supplier-related issues, process improvements and cross-functional activities.
• Coordinate part sorting, containment, and campaigns for retrofit/rework, and communicate data between supplier plants.
• Participate in safe work practices and training; report unsafe acts/conditions.
