Allstate Peterbilt Group in Eagan, MN is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to support procurement activities for the truck and trailer division. The role involves creating purchase orders, following up on orders, and coordinating with vendors to obtain prices and specifications.

The position requires an Associate's degree (preferred), 3+ years in purchasing or purchasing support, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with MS Dynamics. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or purchasing support capacity.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• MS Dynamics accounting/inventory software experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention-to-detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepares purchase orders by compiling information and records from multiple sources.
• Edit purchase requests, and follow-up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications.
• May contact vendors and suppliers for quotations.
• Placing emergency orders based on request from branches.
• Analyzing inventory levels and usage to determine stocking quantities.
