Job summary

American Fleet Supply in Eagan, MN is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and inventory analysis to keep parts flowing to our branches.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (preferred), 3+ years in purchasing or sourcing, and strong MS Excel skills; experience with MS Dynamics is a plus.

• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• MS Dynamics accounting/inventory software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares purchase orders by compiling information and records from multiple sources.
• Edits purchase requests and follows up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications.
• Contacts vendors for quotations as needed.
• Places emergency orders based on requests from branches.
• Analyzes inventory levels and usage to determine stocking quantities.
