Kunes Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Advisor to support our Service Department, technicians, and customers by sourcing parts, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts, retail, or customer service.
• Parts advising experience in a dealership or retail parts store preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer-service mindset with clear, professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some Saturday availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Advisors, Technicians, and customers with identifying and sourcing automotive parts.
• Accurately look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and DMS software.
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate parts needs before they arise.
• Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and core charges.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Receive, stock, and organize parts deliveries.
• Communicate order status and backorders clearly and professionally.
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and compliant with dealership standards.
• Work closely with the Service and Sales departments to support overall operations.
• Recommend and promote parts and accessories to customers.
