Altec Parts Distribution seeks a Pricing Analyst at the Midwest campus in St. Joseph, Missouri. This onsite role focuses on setting list prices for external customers and supporting service teams with pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in office software. Driver’s license is required, and the position emphasizes teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of two years experience in a related field
• Current valid Driver’s License
• PC skills using spreadsheets and word processing and other office management applications
• Mechanical aptitude, product or industry knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Apply pricing strategy to replacement parts for external customers and Service
• Conduct market research and analysis including trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing strategies
• Research item and purchasing information to set list price per established standards
• Maintain and update item costs, price lists, and discount modifiers
• Conduct cost analyses to inform pricing adjustments
• Communicate pricing decisions and strategies with internal groups
• Provide pricing support to Altec Service, Altec World Wide, and Altec Supply as needed
• All other duties as assigned
