Job summary

Rosenbauer is seeking a General Laborer-Parts Prepper to join our team. This full-time role involves assembling and prepping parts across departments, reading blueprints, and using hand tools.

You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance while supporting multiple production areas. You must be able to read tape measures, perform basic math, and maintain certification in forklift and overhead crane operations where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Read tape measure and perform basic math operations.
• Commitment to safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install basic accessories and hardware on chassis and aerial devices.
• Prepare and debur parts for final assembly.
• Install and assemble basic electrical components.
• Assemble and install mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as directed.
• Follow schedules, shop orders, and drawings to plan work.
